  4.     DIED. Rex Harrison, 82, delectable English actor; in New
  5. York City. Best known for his Tony- and Oscar-winning
  6. performances as Professor Henry Higgins in My Fair Lady, he was
  7. also the very model of the English gentleman in drawing-room
  8. comedy and bittersweet drama. Knighted last year, Harrison
  9. avowed no plans to retire: "I wouldn't know what to do." He was
  10. starring in the Broadway comedy The Circle until three weeks
  11. before his death.
